The social distancing restrictions to slow the spread of Covid-19 has had a significant impact on the Australian hospitality and food sector.
The result of these restrictions, and the flow-on effect of reduced patronage, means that restaurants, cafés and bars have been reporting an average drop of 40 per cent in revenue in just a few short weeks.
But we have also seen some amazing examples of resilience and pivots to work around the restrictions of not being able to do business as usual.
In this special Masterclass session, we were joined by some of the industry stakeholders at the pointy end of innovation. We also discussed how you can change the way you do business to not only survive the current environment, but potentially expand into new markets and new customers.
