One of the strengths of the Casey Cardinia Business Awards is the comprehensive judging process, which is designed to be fair, transparent and independant of both the City of Casey and Cardinia Shire Council.
The judging process relies on the generosity of an esteemed panel of honorary judges who are highly experienced and respected in their fields, representing a variety of industry sectors.
Each entry will be assessed on information provided to the questions on the official application form. Please feel free to be as creative as possible in the presentation of your application.
Judges may determine that a site visit is necessary in consideration of your application, however this is not mandatory.
Businesses intending to enter the Awards are advised to attend the applicant’s information session or request an appointment with our awards team via firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is also advised that businesses refer to and review their business, marketing, professional development and staff training plans when preparing the application form.
Time spent reflecting on achievements and goals will assist in the preparation of the entry.
The judges' decisions are final.
Entries will be judged on the basis of the information provided in the completed application form, eligibility, and responses to the general information and prescribed questions in the application form and supporting materials such as customer testimonials, Industry Awards, etc.
All entries are evaluated in accordance with the Casey Cardinia Business Awards judging methodology criteria across various areas: description, achievements, development, marketing, multimedia, strategies, community involvement, sustainability, professional development, risk management, access for all, innovation and evidence of demonstrated success.
All entries are assessed as per the Judging Methodology. A numerical grading system is utilised and weighted against the various sections of the submission during the assessment phase.
