The Pakenham South Employment Precinct comprises approximately 190 ha of existing employment land released in the first two stages and an additional 144 ha planned for stage three.
The precinct is located east of the Cardinia Road precinct and south-west of the existing Pakenham South industrial precinct. The precinct is approximately 55km south-east of the Melbourne CBD and is bordered by the Princes Freeway to the north with a half diamond interchange at McGregor Road and full diamond interchange at Koo Wee Rup Road which run south through the precinct along the western and eastern borders respectively and provides access to South Gippsland Highway. The Princes Freeway provides access to EastLink (located approximately 28km to the west) and Pakenham Station is 3 km away.
The planned future development of Thompsons Road will connect up with Greenhills Road which will provide a direct link to the major industrial node in Dandenong South. A gas pipeline runs through the precinct as well as electricity transmission lines towards the south of the precinct.
The park offers the most affordable land in the South East; it's an outstanding opportunity for developers and owner occupiers. It is zoned industrial 1 and is priced at $60m2 fully serviced. Currently, the park is home to the new Car Megamart, including Toyota, Nisssan and others.
