Cardinia Road Employment Precinct

The Cardinia Road Employment Precinct is in the West of the Cardinia Shire Council

The Cardinia Road Employment precinct comprises approximately 353 ha of employment land in stage one with an additional 68 ha in stage two. The precinct is located west of the Officer precinct and is separated by Gum Scrub Creek.

The precinct is approximately 50km south-east of the Melbourne CBD and is bordered by the Princes Freeway to the north with a full diamond interchange at the intersection of Cardinia Road which runs south through the precinct. The Princes Freeway provides access to EastLink (located approximately 23km to the west). The planned future development of Thompsons Road will run through the precinct and provide a direct link to the major industrial node in Dandenong South. The Cardinia Road Station is located just 1 km away and there is numerous retail amenity near by. A gas pipeline and fibre optic cable runs through the precinct as well as electricity transmission lines towards the south of the precinct.
